REFUNDS, RETURNS AND EXCHANGES POLICY
- To initiate a return, please contact us at info@geraldsmithart.co.za within 2 (two) days of receiving your order with your order number and reason for return so that we can assist you with the return.
1.1 Please note that we have a no-return policy on the following products:
Free Wallpaper digital Downloads
Printable Digital Downloads
Downloadable Products
Custom Digital Designs and Illustrations
Item(s) that are on clearance sale, sale or discounted.
Gift Cards
- Custom or personalized items unless there is a manufacturing defect.
1.2 You may return any item(s) (excluding the items mentioned above in 1.1) purchased from our website for a refund or exchange within 7(seven) days from delivery.
All deliveries and returns or exchanges will be strictly handled using our own courier partners.
Item(s) purchased through this website will only be eligible for a refund or exchange if it meets the following conditions:
Proof of purchase and/or invoice or delivery note.
Item(s) are in their original, unused, unaltered and sealable condition, with all tags and packaging intact.
Upon receiving the returned item(s) they will be inspected and assessed to ensure they meet the requirements for an acceptable return.
We reserve the right to refuse a return or exchange if the item(s) does not meet the eligibility criteria outlined in this policy with due explanation and accompanying proof.
We do not take responsibility for the damage of goods due to couriering of the item(s).
The Courier services used for returns will be on the cuctomers’ own account. Delivery details will be communicated via email with the customer.
After the returned item(s) have been assessed, and it is eligible for a return or exchange, we will issue a refund or dispatch the replacement item(s) at no additional charge. Please note that refunds do not include the shipping costs paid by the customer on the original order.
1.3 Damage or defective items:
Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately at info@geraldsmithart.co.za if the item is defective, damaged, or if you receive the wrong item. Please provide us with photographic proof of the damaged or defective or wrong item(s) within the email.
Please ensure you retain proof of purchase for all returns.
Should any item(s) purchased from our website be damaged or defective, these Items, if unaltered, may be returned for refund, replacement (where stock is available), or repair (where repair is possible) within 6 (six) months of the purchase date, subject to producing proof of your purchase (invoice or delivery note).
Should we accept, based on your photographic proof, that the item is defective, we will organise a courier to collect the item from you. The item will then be inspected further at our location to ensure it meets the requirements for an acceptable refund or replacement.
1.4 Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.
1.5 Processing times for refunds may vary depending on your payment method.
1.6 Due to health reasons we do not accept returns on items that have already been worn such as t-shirts. Therefore it is important to inform us of any damage or defects as soon as you receive your item(s).
