Mustang Sally has a unique history in South Africa, particularly with its owner, Menno Parsons. Built in 1943 by North American Aviation, it was originally U.S. registration number N72FT 44-74494. Mustang Sally is the only flying P-51 Mustang in South Africa and has been a prominent feature at airshows all over the country.
